Located beside pineland plaza, the entrance is small, parking is quite limited, so it is better that you park at pineland plaza and walk to the cafe.
The cafe is small and yet cozy, it was full house when we arrived, so if you don't mind sitting outside then you will be alright, else you need to wait for the table inside.
The desserts are well made. Not very sweet everything is just nice.
Waiting time is about average, it's not very fast but considering the crowd you will need to wait a bit longer.
Overall it is a good place to catch up with friends or go dating.
The best dessert in Brisbane! I almost try every cake in this shop. They always surprised me. I like the tiramitsu tart most! Never taste the tiramitsu in a tart! That’s amazing! And also the basque cheese cake! I went with my Japanese friend last week. They said the basque there is the best they had! Overall Sonder is a good dessert store and you can taste the Japanese style dessert here.
Truly one of the best matcha places around in Brisbane/south-side! Although prices will be slightly higher around ($10-$15), the quality of all cakes, flavours and drinks can be tasted 🍦🍵🍰 Has a vibey interior suited for hang-outs!
Too sweet for me and exxy. I could taste the raw egg flavour in the baked cheesecake. Not as delicious as it looks. Unfortunately my first time and last time. I don't recommend it.
This dessert cafe always has interesting Japanese cakes and if you love matcha or hojicha lattes, this place serve one of the best! I ordered the hojicha chocolate cake (rich chocolate that is well balanced with the hojicha cream) and the matcha cake (rich matcha balanced well with the white chocolate)!
Actually did themselves a slight disservice on being so nice. Couldn't fault the food - that cheesecake flan is UHmazing. The miso caramel tart was great and the chiffon also spot on. They generously gave us the two shakes and we didn't like either. The only reason they aren't all fives!
Very nice Japanese dessert place. If you love matcha then this is the place for you.
I always love seeing what these guys post on Instagram so it was awesome to finally go in person. I tried a Mont Blanc milk pudding which was delicious. The basque cheesecake was too rich and dense for my liking and didn’t have the expected basque burnt exterior to offset the richness. I did also really enjoy the hojicha iced tea especially because this did have the bitterness that complimented our sweets.
